Overall Responsibilities:

• Plans & facilitates penetration tests for critical IT infrastructure & applications along with remediation of the same in alliance with it
• Maintain information security risk register for the organization
• Work with IT team to determine which patches are viable
• Reviews daily log data gathered from various resource such as sensors, alert logs, firewall logs, content filtering logs
• Performs regular analysis of internal log data to better understand & identify common threats & exploits realized by the organization
• Monitors intrusion Detection System (IDS) console for active alerts & determine priority of response & documents identified problems
